The second single from Django's upcoming album 'Stories As You Pass By' is out now! Sound of the Sea explores a widower's connection to her coastal home and tells the story of how she lost her partner to the very thing that shapes her life so much, the sea.
This track is heavily inspired by the Sussex landscape, Cuckmere Haven, and standing on the South Downs looking across to the sea. Django's roots in Shoreham are strong and the feeling of being so attached to a place you can feel it in your bones is unlike anything else. Sound of the Sea also gives more than a subtle nod towards one of Django's favourite bands ever, This Is The Kit.
